A Japanese-English accounting application built for a foreign entrepreneur who moved to Japan and needed to manage Japanese accounting workflows in English.

This system is shown as a portfolio case study and proof of technical capability. ND Systems is not currently accepting commissions for this accounting system or selling it as a standalone product.
The goal was not simple translation. The system was designed so Japanese accounting rules could be handled through English-language screens, labels, invoices, and reports, while maintaining a single consistent accounting dataset behind the interface.
Designed so a foreign entrepreneur in Japan could manage Japanese accounting data while working in English.
Journal entries, ledgers, trial balance, financial statements, invoices, fixed assets, tax review checks, and audit logs were connected in one application.
AI support was used for draft journal entries, translation support, and receipt or invoice image extraction, with user review before registration.
Counterparties, accounts, projects, invoices, and reports were structured with Japanese and English fields so the same data could be shared across languages.
This case demonstrates ND Systems' ability to organize complex business requirements into a practical web application: bilingual data modeling, accounting logic, auditability, AI-assisted input, privacy-aware AI use, and user-facing workflows that remain understandable to non-Japanese operators.
The same design approach is relevant to bilingual websites and web applications where English communication, Japanese business context, and day-to-day operations need to work together.
